  1. Hi, Amanda,
I randomly checked your blog, since Tony had given me the address but said you didn’t really use it – and was surprised to learn that Tony has reenlisted. I definitely will check it regularly now. How are you doing?
Thinking of you, Michelle Brubaker (Mark’s wife, John and Shirley’s son)

  2. Prayers for you and your struggles and Tony’s safe return.

    Hi Amanda,

We have never met, but our husbands are always in pictures together! I stumble upon your blog every so often and I just read you know your spouse is deployed when… (part 2). I can definitely relate!!!

I thought I would just say hi! It’s been one roller coaster of a deployment and is always fun meeting new people and seeing all of the support from the Battalion FB page.

I’m sure you’re crossing off the weeks as fast as I am!

    Danielle

    Amanda,

I read all of your blogs on this very difficult journey you are on. I don’t have any questions to ask as I’m sure it is beyond difficult. I only want you to know that you are an amazing person. I knew this since I worked at country table with you as kids. You are so bright and beautiful on the inside and out and I see now how strong of a woman you are. I personally could not be with someone in the military. I want you to know I see your strength and I commend you and thank you for sharing such raw feelings and the honesty. I’m sure you don’t hear it often but I’m proud of you as well as your husband for what he does. Thank you both!

Amanda it is hard to imagine going through this again so soon but if this helping him for his future then it must be the plan of God. I’m glad you can have the privilege of going over to see him wherever he will be. I shall pray That God protects them as they are away and that everything will be accomplished according to God’s wiil. I also pray that Amanda will have peace and strength she needs to go through this again. Be it according to God’s will and purpose for them while they are apart. Show them Your Glory through this time and Your love. Thank You Lord. In Jesus name amen.
